bato springs resort

last sunday, march 22, was the post birthday celebration of a friend. we went to bato springs resort in san pablo, laguna. it was a very nice place. it had more than one swimming area, though only one was in tiles, made as a "pool". But it had no chlorine in it, still with natural running water. we had a hard time swimming, since the water was so cold, but went swimming still instead...

there are other amenities that the resort offers, like billiards and videokes, and food from their canteen/store. as per the accommodation, houses varies to the number of occupants. overnighters are also welcome, since the resort is open 24/7.

earlier bird...

today, i woke up at 5am, considering that i went to the gym yesterday, came home late and exhausted, and dozed off at around 11pm, i guess. i didn't sleep well, but still woke up early, and had not been able to take some sleep after waking up. so i decided to get up and get ready for work.

as i enter the bathroom, i then learned that there was no water dripping from the faucet! i thought that would ruin my day. as anticipated by my mom last night, she saved some pails with water on it... so i went on with my routine. since it was so early, my mom hadn't got up yet. so, i decided to cook my own breakfast. i just fried some hotdogs, and prepared pandesal sandwiches with it. then prepared my other stuff as well.

then, off i go to the office. surprisingly, i arrived at 7:40am... that would make my off at 5pm...

i just hope i had a more flexible schedule (lol)...

dancer... DAW...

yesterday, after work, i went to the gym(at long last)... again... i decided to try the group exercise, since i haven't experienced it yet. as i arrived, i scanned through the list of schedules. the only available exercise was "hip hop". so since i decided earlier to participate, i did join.

i was confident at first, since i love dancing, and was dancing before (during my younger, younger years... lol). and then the exercise started... i had difficulty, thought it was just my first time joining a group exercise, and that the group already know the steps (doing it even before). as time passes and the moves progresses, i realized that i was rusty! i couldn't dance anymore... i was so lousy from beginning to end!!!(lol)

since it was all fun, i decided to do a group exercise again, today, after work. the scheduled exercise this afternoon is "body jam", i think. also, i want to re-polish my moves and re-develop my psychomotor skills... i believe that a lousy dancer is just the same as a lousy athlete, or better yet, a lousy person, generally speaking.

Island Cove... then (I) Detoured...

It was last Friday that we went to Island Cove... Again... But this time, it wasn't for an event, rather, for the annual company outing. The outing was scheduled for March 13-14. The first day was mandated to be attended by all, since it was also the General Assembly and our Team Building, and the rest of the day and the next were just optional.

I just attended the required thingy, since I decided to play that night. It was a tiring day, aside from sleeping at past 12mn the night before, and waking up at 5am. Right after the sessions of the day, almost half of Teamyehey headed home, of course including me. I thought all was going well, until i just fumed up with what happened later that early evening. Anyhow, I was so wasted, and was thinking of not playing anymore. But, since I already confirmed and was one of the expected six, I played still. Surprisingly, I had enough energy to play all through the night...

After all those physically engaging activities? SLEEP!!! That day was fun and exciting, though I wish it was made longer...

stressful yesterday...

Yesterday after work, i was with an officemate in a cab. I was then heading home, and her, well, had work to do somewhere else. Of course, since it was almost 6pm, rush hour, it was hard to get a cab. So, we went to Megamall hoping to get a cab from the taxi bay. Fourunately, the line in the bay was short. So, we got on one after a few. Since it was a rush hour, traffic was so heavy. We had to take other routes just to save time, but it didn't help. We still got caught in a heavy trafiic. By the way, we were heading to adriatico, manila, where my officemate had a business to attend to.

After we went through that heavy traffic, I thought it will be just a light travel from then on, since we were getting nearer our destination. I also decided to come with my officemate to her destination to further assist her, since she was having problems with the programming of a certain application, which was very much needed, with communicating with the programmers, with the laptops power, etc.

As we were about to cross an intersection, having sped up while doing so, another vehicle was speeding up too, trying to cross. It was a lesser a problem if that vehicle was crossing on the opposite side or parallel to us, but no. It sped up from our left side going across us. So, a collision took place. We were all shocked. Good thing, no one was hurt. So, we decided to just pay up and take off.

The destination was just 2-3 blocks away from the scene, so we decided to walk. After the long walk, we reached the venue. There, I still went inside with her to check up on certain things, making sure if she needed help. The program then was "A" okay. So, i took off and headed home sweet home...

As i arrived home, i texted her and asked how she was doing. She replied that she was doing okay, only that she thought she needed to stay longer. And that the application was NOT needed amymore.
So i decided to write this for her, not me, who i think was stressed out after all what had happened yesterday. I still needed to ask her if the application was really used or not though (LOL).
